A day cook..

Well guys, i am so sorry..
posted up the blog late, as i am currently so busy with my thesis and exams. And for today i am suppose to revise my exam subject but a little stress with it, so i decided to continue my blog.

2 days ago, i was quite free and i decided to cook at home as we had been bored of eating outside food so much plus it's drastically expensive nowadays as the price of the wheat increase. We went to the shopping mart which is JUSCO( i know, it's a well-known supermarket recently).

i bought vegetables and meat, some for the soup of the day and some for others. While choosing the meat, i decided to buy drumsticks and the wings. Guess what am i going to do with that...?

i bought some vegetable which is the spinach but it's the young spinach, it's smaller of course and taste better..

The so called "jinak " fish..guess what shall i cook with...

tadaaa...which those ingredients which is chopped garlic, cut cubed carrot and fresh tomato, and also slice chili.

With all these ingredients, i did it with sweet sour taste.
Here are those steps:
-First,you have to marinate the fish with salt and pepper to cover the fishy smell and just simply fry it for 3 minutes;

-Next, for the sauce: fry the garlic till a little golden brown,place the carrot and chili to fry in order to get the fragrance.

-Then, pour about 1 1/2 table spoon out MAGGI Chili Sauce , 1 1/2 table spoon of MAGGI Tomato Sauce , 1 Table spoon of plum sauce and add about half bowl of water.
(p/s: you can adjust the taste depends on how saturated you wan the sauce to be.)

-After the sauce start to boil, place in the fresh tomato and also the cut cubed cucumber and the fish for longer boiling to make sure that the fish is filled up with the sweet sour taste.

-Cover the pan for 10 minutes and the sweet and sour fish is ready to be served.

The next dish i did will be the chicken stew.
-I fill half of the pot of water, add in some pepper corn, and 3 chicken wings for the stock.
-Cut 3 potatos (in cubes), 1 carrot(in cubes too)
, 1 1/2 bombay onions(in 8 parts) and also 1 tomato(this is optional, but i notice it taste better with it).

For the potato i had already cut it and place it into the soup...hehehe..

After almost 3 hours of boiling(slow boiling in order to have sweet and better taste), Here's the result:

Well, well how was it? Of course is in nice condition, the aroma....Perfectly done. Remember to add salt and soya sauce for the seasoning..

For the Spinach, i make it simple.. I just fry it with Garlic and add some of soya sauce.It taste great too as the young spinach is sweet.


Opps, Where is the drumstick? eheemm..as my hubby loves fried stuffs, i decided too pry it just like that.(of course with kentucky fried chicken powder.Sorry dude, i was busy till forgot to take to picture of it.)Here's the result...

Lastly i did do something with the sliced pork that my hubby that marinated it with sesame oil, soya sauce, pepper and some corn flour. I just fry it..ahahhaaa..

After almost 2 hours of cooking , here's the complete set of the dinner...

The chicken stew in the middle, the sweet and sour fish at the right, the spinach on the top right and lastly the fried chicken at the top left.
The marinated pork that i fried and some sauce for the pork which is the black pepper BBQ sauce.
Nice and complete dinner,yum yum..
